Apparently it's been announced on Sky now that Balinski has signed for the Robins. Excellent signing and one rider I love watching, just hope you have a sturdy air fence.

And confirmed by Leigh Adams as being the right Damian Balinski - that's to say Snr and not Jnr. Also going to be riding Leigh Adams' bikes for Swindon.

Great signing by Swindon, not only good for them, but good for British Speedway in general. But tell me, how is it that Lakeside applied to the BSPA for permission to bring in Andreas Messing for the unavailable Lubos Tomicek and it took five days for an answer, wheras Mads got injured around 24 hours before the announcement of Damian? Has the contract been signed with an orange pen?

Is he coming in with immediate effect? If so who for? In for Mads, and he starts in their play-off meeting on the 17th.

There's the problem Kev.It took the BSPA a few days to work out who Lakeside are.Now if Arena Essex had applied...........

Anyway, the highlight of last night's television coverage had to be Leigh Adams when asked to describe Balinski:
He's (pause, pause and another pause), he's (pause) entertaining, mate.

Big risk thou makeing his debut in a play off semi final on a track he's never ridden before and on other riders bikes thou they are leigh adams .
A great rider but a big ask to come up with the goods right away .

Will Rosco be getting him any track time between now and the semi-final, young hortonfan? I assume he'll be travelling over from Poland with Adams after the meeting at Leszno on Sunday, so maybe some practice on Monday afternoon, if the dogs aren't chasing the hare?
