Could be a good battle for the bonus point on Sky tonight as Swindon take on Peterborough The away leg saw the Panthers win 51-42, and both teams are at full strength.

Peterborough always seem to struggle here, and Swindon never seem to do well at the showground.
Why is a bit of a mystery because they are both big tracks, but Gjedde and Chrzanowski seem unable to score there, and all bar Andersen and Bjerre struggle at Blunsdon.
At best it will be a fight for the aggregate point, the improving King could possibly up his game tonight, and Dryml has had the odd good meeting at the abbey.
The probabilty is though, that come heat 15, Swindon will run out comfortable winners. (55-38)

I'm not as cnfident as you, lapped the last panthers match there was no Hans and the rest didn't look like they had bothered to turn up either. Swindon to win but might be close for the bonus.

Amazingly I lasted until Heat 7 before deciding I had better things to do. Andersen apart it's crap. Probably would have lasted a heat or two longer, but I need a translator when Ermolenko is about and Tatum describing Swiderski as a "young Pole" did my head in. I've trained my brain to block Millard out nowadays. The most exciting thing the Sky team can come up with is when will they use the tactical and they wonder why fans are leaving the sport in droves

I managed to make it through to the conclusion, but one thing about it did annoy me. With the two most ridiculed team managers in the Elite League (aside from Middlo, of course) I thought the incident in Ht 7 was the perfect opportunity for Rosco or the golem Swales to make idiots of themselves again on television. But they didn't and that made the meeting a whole lot less entertaining.

I just couldn't get interested in this. The prospect of a run-off was mildly interesting but Hans Andersen made an *rse of it. Where does Kelvin Slaver get his cliches from. 'To be perfectly honest' I don't know. Sam Ermolenko is just as bad. What's this straightaway he keeps talking about? How long has he been in this country? And what does 'he'll make the track work for him' mean? The commentary team were all having orgasms at the thought of a Tactical Ride turning round the meeting. Aye - right! And the prospect of a run-off for the bonus point? It's a wonder it didn't make the national news! Swindon never seems to produce good meetings from what I've seen and I don't find the spectacle of Leigh Adams winning by a distance all that exciting 'to be perfectly honest' I actually turned over at one point to watch the Hearts v Hibernian derby on Sentanta. Says it all really.

I thought it was brilliant tonight. Maybe there were quite a few of the Blunsdon spaced out heats, but it built up to a superb finale. Maybe you had to be there. It was an electric atmosphere in the last few races. I watched the run-off when I got home and that never really came across on the television.
What was wrong with heat 7? Made perfect sense to me. Moore was still racing to get past because Iversen was sticking behind Swiderski and the Pole was very slow. Iversen laid the bike down to avoid him from what I saw. A re-run was the only real course of action. If it was awarded it would, presumably, have been as a 4-2 to Swindon, but with Iversen on the deck it could have been as a Swindon 5-1, which wouldn't have been fair.
Perfectly reasonable decision.

What about Rosco's glaring error in heat 14? Had he asked just about any fan in the stadium whether Andy Moore should have stayed in or Mads brought in they would have told him what to do. Saved by Adams there, I think.

Rosco said over the PA that he got it wrong. He considerd both options, but went for Moore because he was more up for it. Then again, ask any fan in the stadium and they would have said Swales was daft putting King out in that race - I certainly thought it.
You never know what's going on in the pits.

King had his butt kicked by all accounts, and Mads was a different rider after he changed bikes.
