Ditto......it's a forum where you can say what you want, and unfortunately Genghis usually does.

I've also been quite busy recently, and haven't had the chance to post much, although I have been trying to keep the F1 section going.

I fear if we can't rekindle some interest from the Schumster this forum will simply fade away! I would imagine like myself and the Wackster, she has become increasingly disenchanted with the sport in general, although in my defence i would also throw into the mix that i rarely work less than 80 hours a week these days. I suggest we look to give the forum a shake up and a bit of an update, we need more individual club updates and info(like the Badgester does) and maybe we should be looking to phase out the flapperjack and mutts awards which seem rather outdated these days. I would also love to see some serious suggestions as to what the sport needs to do to secure it's future. I would love us to produce some sort of 'white paper' on the future of speedway.
If nothing else i believe this could be the place where we could be first with the ACTUAL team line up's.

I simply don't have the time to run it any more, and have really lost interest, which is why I've handed it over to Genghis. He's been here the longest and he knows his stuff.

I was going to close it, but I know a few people would miss it, and then I was going to delete my account, but that would change a lot aesthetically, so I've simply stepped down, taken away my own admin status, and will leave my account unused.

A very very sad day indeed...... I hope you will reconsider over time and come back, but in the meantime thank you for everything you've done over the years on this forum - I know you have put an immense amount of work in. A big thanks to Genghis too for stepping into your shoes and not letting this fantastic forum go down. xx

Yes, a very, very sad day. I also hope that Schumi will take some time out and then decide to come back, but totally respect her reasons for not doing so if she chooses.

When you've put as much time and effort into something as Schumi has into this forum, you just can't walk away and forget it. I'm sure Schumi may have a sneaky look in from time to time, so let's all pull together, keep it going and give Schumi (and ourselves) something to read if that does happen. !!!

Haven't posted on here for a while, but still keep an eye out and would just like to echo the thanks and good wishes that go to Schumi for all the hard work put into keeping this place going. Best of luck Genghis, some fairly large boots to fill
