Teams confirmed: Ipswich Witches 1. Scott Nicholls (8.08) 2. Claus Vissing (4.53) 3. Daniel King (6.80) Captain 4. Oliver Allen (6.29) 5. Robert Miskowiak (7.69) 6. Dawid Stachyra (3.89) 7. Carl Wilkinson (3.34) Eastbourne Eagles 1. Matej Zagar (9.15) 2. Simon Gustafsson (6.18) 3. Lukas Dryml (5.70) 4. Cameron Woodward (5.33) Captain 5. Joonas Kylmakorpi (6.02) 6. Ricky Kling (4.31) 7. Looks like Ipswich will be without Dawid and Robert and Eastie without Lampart tonight, due to the flight cancellations.
Zagr flew in before the shut down apparently.
So Richie Hawkins for Dawid, R/R for Misko, subject to BSPA agreement, and the lovely Schrammy for Lampart for Eastie.

I'm so glad Zagar and Dryml have made it, what would we do without them The use of Schramm at reserve surely strengthens us a little bit....obviously nowhere near enough to get anywhere near to winning

But there's no facility available for riders, who have not managed to make it to the meeting. It should be a 3.00 man for Miskowiak.

Yeah that's a good idea Genghis, BA fuck up again and cost Ippo two decent, potentially high scoring riders, and as cover they get Richie Hawkins and some 3 point rider. Does it not ever cross your narrow mind that Speedway is a form of entertainment, and most of the time common sense needs to prevail ? Bookies think the Seahawks will keep the defeat to 4 points ! Sorry Mimi but i don't.....

Thats right but you didnt take into account that the BSPA MC have been asked to make a ruling and whether its in the rules or not doesnt matter with that body, they do what they bloody well like depending on which club it suits. My information suggests Mick Bates is the referee, will be interesting if the ref/scb disagree with that decision.

Speedway is entertainment, but it's also a sport. I haven't noticed that Messi bloke guesting for Rooney since he's been injured, even though it leaves Man U understrength.

And a professional sport should be run by professionals who know sport, anyone with half a brain would realize if riders operate individually, nationally and on a club level in maybe three different countries, problems will occur, and punishing supporters, teams and riders, benefits nobody...........Or in other words, common sense should prevail..

I could seriously live with the common sense approach if its was operated fairly to all, but unfortunately consistency and common sense do not seem to be a major part of the BSPA MC, as shown by the fact that they investigated someone for cheating last year and then elected him vice chairman a few months later.

What has Messi and 'guesting' got to do with the debate ? As far as i am aware Ippo want to replace a 7.69 rider of their own with four other riders of their own who's combined total will amount to no more than 6.425.............What is the problem ? forcing them to bring in a 3 point rider who is nothing to do with them achieves jack fucking shit. To use your initial comment, i haven't noticed a Rooney missing Manchester United, being forced to replace him with a 3 goal a season clown from a Div 2 team..

No, but they do cover Rooney from their own resources, not by borrowing a player from Arsenal, or by playing only 10 men and getting Giggs to run about and cover two positions for 15 minutes, then Bergertov taking over and doing the same.
