He (Rossiter) told Coventry’s official website: “It’s unfortunate for Ricky because we did expect this rule to change. Amazing isn't it......he's only been in the job a couple of minutes and his unprofessionalism is shining through already!!! Bit unfair blaming him tho' Kev, think that was a done deal before he was appointed.....mind I could be wrong in which case you are correct . Funny that they expected the rule to change isn't it? , but then it was used to good effect last season to block our use of Darcy, so I expect it isn't needed anymore

Makes good sense I think, with Frampton's average too high to double up with us, we lend him to Swindon and borrow one of theirs. Sweetman was going well at Brum at the end of last season so lets hope he can carry on with that improvement this year, though to be honest I think Auty will be used as first choice, there are enough Thursday teams in the Elite to ensure young Sweetman a fair crack of the whip

He may be an annoying git but those Kevlars from Shovlar were hilarious, especially the Sitera ones.

COVENTRY Buildbase Bees are delighted to announced the signing of teenage hotshot Przemyslaw Pawlicki.
The 18-year-old Pole (first name pronounced Shamek) will come into the side from next Friday's Elite League local derby against Wolverhampton.
He made a spectacular, double-figure scoring Polish Extraleague debut with Leszno in 2008, and last year he scored a maximum in Poland's World Under-21 Team Cup victory.
Bees boss Alun Rossiter said: "It's no secret that I've been looking to bring someone in, and although it's taken some time to finalise, Pawlicki was my first choice for this position.
"His kevlars are on order, he is due in the country this weekend with his father and brother and we will fix him up with accommodation with some of the other Poles.
"He comes with a really good pedigree, although we have to remember his age and he will need to settle in. I'm really pleased to have him, and I do have other irons in the fire because we have to turn around what's been a horrible start to the season."
Pawlicki replaces the unlucky Christian Hefenbrock, who sustained ankle ligament damage in his very first Elite League ride for the club at Peterborough on Good Friday.
Rossiter added: "It's never nice to tell a rider he's out of the team, and Christian is simply a victim of the circumstances of his injury and the fact that we have needed to make a change.
"It's nothing against Christian himself, he is still keen to ride in the Elite League and I have said I will help all I can to get him fixed up with another club."

From the BSPA........
COVENTRY Buildbase Bees have been dealt a major blow - with the news that they are unable to track Polish newcomer Przemyslaw Pawlicki in tonight's Elite League clash with Ipswich at Brandon (8pm).
And manager Alun Rossiter is now set for urgent talks with Pawlicki and his advisors after the 18-year-old was told he had to practice at Gorzow today in preparation for an away match at Zielona Gora on Sunday.
Bees' No.8 Aaron Summers will step in against the Witches tonight, but an angry Rossiter wants the position clarified immediately.
He said: "I can't understand for the life of me why a rider should be forced to practice on his home track two days before an away match, rather than race against people like Scott Nicholls and Robert Miskowiak.
"Unfortunately we are dealing with a coach in Poland who has never ridden a bike, and who was ousted by Leszno last year after a fall-out with Troy Batchelor amongst others.
"It's not down to the kid, he wants to be here and you could see that with the way he rode at Swindon. But it's the people around him, it's not acceptable to us and we can't put up with it.
"I will be having a meeting with Colin (Pratt) at Coventry this afternoon when we will discuss our next move, and we have other options should they be required. Clearly this lad is a good rider, and we've invested heavily in him to bring him to the club, but we can't be messed around like this.
"It's very frustrating for me especially as it's my first major signing since I came to Coventry, but maybe this sort of situation shows why Poland haven't had a World Champion for such a long time. It's a different mentality, but it can't be right."
Bees team to face Ipswich: Chris Harris, Ben Barker, Edward Kennett, Aaron Summers, Rory Schlein, Richard Sweetman, Filip Sitera.
