A brilliant team performance over the two days from Falubaz. Well deserved winners...I'm just gutted it didn't happen last week when I was there and had a ticket for the Falubaz section of the Torun stadium

It looks like Freddie was actually doing the business in these finals. Good on the lad!

Sad to report that Torun's young Australians Darcy Ward and Chris Holder didn't take the defeat with any sort of grace, as television cameras apparently showed them trampling a Falubaz scarf into the track after the end of the meeting. The scarf had been thrown by some of the no doubt delirious Falubaz fans. The incident hasn't gone down well in Poland: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/10/25/skandaliczne-zachowanie-torunskich-zawodnikow/

And Zielona Gora's President Robert Dowhan takes a "mud bath" in Torun, courtesy of the Falubaz riders: zuzel.zgora.pl/pierwsze-zdjecia-ze-zdobycia-mistrza-polski,d2136.html Remarkable crowd scenes, as the Falubaz faithful once again illustrate that they are without peer in Poland and probably the whole speedway world. Meanwhile, the riders will be presented to the fans in Zielona Gora tomorrow as the Green Mountain town celebrates its first Polish championship in 18 years.

Cannot disagree with you there...The Falubaz fans seem to be truly passionate about their club. The video scenes from their matches always look amazing, win or lose. I can't say I have seen the same from any other fans anywhere in the World......
