Tomasz Gapinski withdrew from the quarter finals of the Polish Championships in Krosno after a tumble yesterday evening, and has a suspected fractured foot. This won't be good news for Czestochowa on Sunday, who raced their last meeting without Nicki Pedersen and Greg Hancock. Both GP riders, however, are expected to ride this weekend.

And Travis McGowan will ride in the Ekstraliga this weekend, as Wroclaw have signed him from Ostrow. He will replace Scott Nicholls in the meeting against Leszno, who has disappointed the team with his performance this season.

And just about to get underway in Bydgoszcz, where the visitors are without their star junior Martin Vaculik and the referee is Nicki P's favourite, Wojciech Grodzki.

Has anyone got any good links (either on sopcast or justin.tv) for these matches. The usual sopcast link is offline and the one i did find on justin.tv was really really poor.

Jonsson did his team mate Jedrzejewski no favours at all in that one - nearly had him off. Poor riding from Jonsson which was only mitigated by his passing Gafurov and taking the win.

Shocking stuff from Andersen - stuffed team mate Zetterstrom into the fence just to get third place and avoid having gone from first to last. Disgraceful riding.

Superb overtake of Bjerre by the erratic princeling in Ht 5, but Bjerre looking very pedestrian. Indeed, the whole Gdansk performance has been supine, so far, apart from Damian Sperz. Sperz gave Sajfutdinov plenty to think about in Ht 4. Apart from that, nothing.
