It sure as hell doesn't look like the same rider. Certainly looks like the same Gjedde though. Can't be. Tonight's Gjedde hasn't fell off yet

The plans for the Slaski Stadium look very, very impressive. Pity they don't involve speedway.
If you're watching via Sopcast you'll know what I mean.

It looks like the Sausagemeister is lacking sausage-power tonight - has Grzegorz Zengota nicked his sausages?

Great stuff from Buczkowski in Eskilstina - superb overtake of Rosen in Ht 11. But disappointing stuff from Laguta Jnr.

Take Batchelor away from Swindon and he's more or less useless.

Crump beats Balinski in a time of 66.6. Coincidence?

It's all going wrong for Smederna - Zetterstrom had a good start, but has been hopeless in his last couple. The Blacksmiths need to find someone to beat Gollob or they're beaten.

Kasprzak beats Gollob, but King trails home last - King is too "up and down" to be a top-liner. One ride he looks the business and the next he looks awful.

Vastervik could wrap it up here with the Dullard and PuK in heat 15.

Vastervik could wrap it up here with the Dullard and PuK in heat 15. Well....I was half right. Didn't expect King to beat them that easily.

Fantastic stuff from Laguta Snr in Ht 16 for Vastervik - his masterly disposal of Zetterstrom's attempt to push him out of the way entering turn 3 and then his glorious last bend overtake of Kasprzak was supreme. Once again, very impressive from the Russian.

A weakened Lejonen team took Rospiggarna to a last heat decider, but the mighty Gustafsson (who was only beaten by Nicki P) was too good for Swiderski and Ulamek to tame. Had Watt been riding it could have swung the other way, but it's all ifs and buts.
And we prove it's not just in Britain where there's disappointment for the Pirates, as they suffer a heavy defeat at Vetlanda. Bad nights for Jonas Davidsson, Lindback and Okoniewski, who is no substitue for a fully fit Sajfutdinov, meant the visitors lost by 20 points, as Crump was unbeatable and Hampel recovered quickly from his bout of food poisoning.
