What a superb stadium Gorzow own. Aye.... Why is there not a GP held there? I would suggest that there are probably 3 reasons. 1. The track is a bit narrow and doesn't make for the best of racing. 2. The stadium only holds 11,100 3. The City is a bit grim

Can't understand it being so narrow though - there is loads of room to make it wider.

Not sure who is out for Leszno but Adam Shields has been recalled into the side for Sundays fixture after originally being dropped after his 1 point return in Torun. My guess is that either Pavlic is still unfit or Batchelor has been dropped due to poor form

My guess is that either Pavlic is still unfit or Batchelor has been dropped due to poor form Pavlic is riding in the U21 qualifiers in Krsko today, but is unable to make the practise session as his plane lands too late, so will arrive and ride almost immediately. I guess he just needs a rest.

Pavlic getting to tracks late is becoming too common. He only arrived at Eastbourne on Monday at 19:00 and almost missed a home meeting recently too.
Sounds like some serious planning is needed to get the lad organised properly.

And attention now turns to the re-staged fixture between Gdansk and Leszno, where you'd have to think the visitors are strong favourites for the win. But Leszno haven't quite hit their stride yet.

And we're underway in Gdansk - good start for the homester in the junior race, but Kroner a bit too eager, it seems, in Ht 2.

This ones not on TV I guess? No, this one was never originally scheduled for television, whereas the Torun meeting was in the original schedule, so I guess they honoured the commitment.

Fast times in Gdansk today, as Hans Andersen finally finds some form and sets a new track record of 63.00 in Ht 3 and then in Ht 4 Martin Vaculik runs him close with a time of 63.06. The track record was previously held by Lars Gunnestad and was 63.12.

And good news for our beloved First Lady as "Desperate Dan" Balinski becomes Leszno's first race winner in Ht 6.

It'd take something extraordinary to stop Gdansk taking a win now. And Leszno look incapable of extraordinary today. In fact, ordinary would be a signal achievement for Leszno today. They appear to have been shockingly bad.

And the pre-season Ekstraliga favourites humbled in Gdansk - shameful stuff from Leszno. But what a performance from Gdansk's Martin Vaculik. After today's earlier meeting in Torun, it looks as if last season's champions remain a cut above the rest of the Ekstraliga.
