You was not merely pointing out anything Genghis, you was rubbishing Hatchams nomination and at the same time making yourself look a total prat the same as you did earlier this week in the hall of fame thread.
And kindly don't tell me to get off my high horse I'm more than entitled.
Edited to say, I've just seen the newly inserted last paragraph of your latest post.... Too late, damage already done!

Yes, LW, you are, but I'm more than entitled to make my point as well, which is that footballers are overpaid for what they do. I would rather see a nurse or a teacher nominated, than someone who kicks around a bag of wind and gets paid hundreds of thousands of pounds for it.

Fair comment, maybe you should think what you've written before pressing the post reply button more in future to save further upset.
Anyway this mere Health Centre receptionist is doing the Race for Life again this year for Cancer charity, the link is on my BSF signature maybe you'd like to help me raise a few quid?

LW - I'm sorry if I caused you any upset, it wasn't intended. It was a comment against the celebrity status of footballers, not anything else. And I will contribute a few quid to the charity. Why not add a link to your sig on this site as well?

You began your tirade by describing Neil Harris as a "non-entity" now your saying he has "celebrity status". So which is it ? because personally i would describe him as a moderately well known footballer, who uses his modicum of celebrity to promote a valuable message.

Thank you Genghis, apology accepted.
It takes a lot to upset me normally, but as you'll understand , this is a sensitive subject for me having experienced this disease first hand.

I'm still trying to work out why Hatcham thinks Leeds were "destroyed" by losing 1-0 at Millwall....

LW - thanks for accepting the apology. I did wade in foot first with my size 11s there. I have a tendency of doing that.

I'm still trying to work out why Hatcham thinks Leeds were "destroyed" by losing 1-0 at Millwall.... And the destroy 'ment' is complete as God's own super Lions complete the job and save the championship from dirty Leeds for another season.
