A fine ride from the legend that is Gollob there. His last to first burst looked effortless. As for the Torun match...Unfortunately I'm heading out soon and gonna miss that

And Mr Gollob livens things up a bit with a glorious pass on Tomasz Jedrzejak.

And Tai Woffinden beats Emil Sajfutdinov in Czestochowa - can you imagine the hullabaloo if that was being commentated on by the screaming imbecile?

So the future 'Scott Nicholls' beats the future world champion, it amounts to no more than the current Scott Nicholls beating the current world champion last saturday.

So the future 'Scott Nicholls' beats the future world champion, it amounts to no more than the current Scott Nicholls beating the current world champion last saturday. The current world champion still made the semi-finals, did the global superstar? No, he didn't. A paltry four points doesn't get you to the semi-finals. Not even when you're styled as the "undisputed British No 1".

What relevance does that have to my post ? which for the record is about the fact that Tai Woffinden is the most over-rated over hyped speedway rider around, he will achieve no more than Nicholls, he cannot gate, is arrogant, aloof and makes poor decisions.

Jeez...what happened in Scott's 4th ride? I popped out the room for a bit and he banged in a win!! Popped out of the start and by the time PK had got ahead of Janowski, the global superstar was too far ahead. A good win for the fellow. But normal service was soon resumed.

And now time to settle back and watch what should be one of the highlights of the Ekstraliga season, as Torun's beautiful new stadium hosts its first Ekstraliga meeting. And what a meeting in prospect. The 2008 champions versus the 2007 champions. The two clubs have battled it out in the Ekstraliga final on both occasions. It should be great.

Not the start Torun would've wanted - missing Darcy Ward this week. Sadly, Matej Kus just doesn't seem up to the task. Pawlicki, on the other hand, is a very promising rider. Leszno will be pleased to have him back after injury.
