Okay, so what's the state of play in the Ekstraliga. Well, one of the second round meetings is sorted out, with Torun and Leszno (last year's finalists) meeting. And one team - Gorzow - has definitely been eliminated. But the other couple of places are technically still "up for grabs", although realistically only an idiot would suggest that Czestochowa won't qualify. Which leaves Zielona Gora and Wroclaw fighting for the final place. As it stands at the moment:
Czestochowa 53 : 39 Wroclaw Torun 113 : 68 Gorzow Leszno 94 : 87 Zielona Gora
So, if Wroclaw manage 49 points or more when they face Czestochowa at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow, they're through to face Czestochowa in the next round.

But Wroclaw didn't come anywhere near to the points required. And with Jason Crump missing that's not so surprising. The final picture regarding the first round of the play-offs is as follows:
Czestochowa 113 : 71 Wroclaw Torun 113 : 68 Gorzow Leszno 94 : 87 Zielona Gora
All of which means the second round looks like this:
Czestochowa versus Leszno Torun versus Zielona Gora

Crump's extended his contract with Wroclaw until 2010, with Maciej Janowski and Ben Barker also confirmed for next year.
