So off we go. Decision day for this particular award will be Saturday, January 17.
Hatcham, would you like to decide the winner?
And I believe young Badge has a nomination to get us cracking.

Similarly, I'm delaying the new FOTW thread until the Flapperjack of 2008 is decided so the two don't become confused. When is the closing date for votes for the Flapperjack of 2008 - I think it needs to be quite soon because I'm concerned about how quickly Ben Powell is catching up Lord Flapperjack.

Come on folks, there must be someone else out there worthy of a Mutts' Nuts nomination?

Leigh Adams? Ten times an Australian champion has to count for something in this hard world, hasn't it?

On the theme of the Australian Championship, I'll nominate Darcy Ward, simply for doing so well as a youngster without that much experience (OK, and the bias of him being a KL rider).

How about an honoury, posthumous "Mutts Nutts" for Bob Kilby's gating?

So, we've got Leigh Adams, Darcy Ward and the late Bob Kilby who are all worthy nominations in their own right, but I'd like to extend it another week if that's OK Genghis?
I can't really see anyone head and shoulders above the rest from that list and maybe the next seven days might throw up another candidate
