Well, he might have scored 22 points in the Grand Prix at Gothenburg, the screaming imbecile may have thought he won the Grand Prix, but not a good night for young Fredrik Lindgren so far - 5-1ed twice in Vetlanda. And Skornicki passed both him and Dryml to join partner Ljung in Ht 6.

Not a night to remember, so far, for Davey Watt - and what was that time in Ht 6 all about in Avesta? I'm guessing Ferjan spent the 4 laps looking backwards instead of forwards. He does that, don't you know?

Okay, at the interval stage in two of my meetings and it looks like Dackarna's top four will have to produce the goods if the champions want to win in Vetlanda. But Crump and Holta are no pushovers. Should be interesting. But last year's runners-up, Vastervik are making awful hard work of Elitserien new-comers Lejonen. Both meetings should have thrilling conclusions.

Well, Erik certainly won't be happy with Hammarby tonight after they led all the way to heat 13, only to throw it away at the last hurdle. Monberg and Zagar seriously underperforming for their team, with Nicholls top scoring.

Shameful performance from Harris for Vastervik - he'll be at reserve before you know it. Shocking.

And a miserable performance from Schlein and Buczkowski saw Smederna lose to the Pirates, who were the more consistent side, although Sullivan would have been expected to score more. Would love to see this meeting, so if it's available for download I'll be there in the queue.

Swedish averages are complicated and worked out on a meeting to meeting basis, so Max will probably be back in the main team next week.

Monberg and Zagar seriously underperforming for their team, with Nicholls top scoring. Far from happy Schumi, in fact I was furious. Fair play to Rospiggarna for getting close to maximum out of their team, but we were awful. No team-riding, no concentration, careless, throwing points away all the time. Monberg beyond words, he won't be seen again very soon. Zagar at least tried better, but struggled badly on the very small 80cc track. As did Dobrucki, he was totally lost in his first two heats but he managed to get somewhat of a hang of things later on. Scott was very good, as was Smolinski and Kim. The others need a big fine for ridiculous performances and a big kick in the arse. Joonas started good but threw alot of points away for riding too hard for the win and losing the plot. Especially ht 11 was stupid. He was in third behind Kim and McGowan and was ofcourse much faster than McGowan, but on these small tracks with no straights speed isn't everything, he chased too hard and over-cooked it and was passed by Messing. Shameful doesn't even begin to describe it.

But a much better peformance from Simon Stead... All things are relative - he didn't really beat anyone worthy of note, did he? Beating Ferjan, Hefenbrock and the Gustafssons is nothing to start shouting from the rooftops.

Shameful performance from Harris for Vastervik - he'll be at reserve before you know it. Shocking. Almost but not quite yet. Here are the contenders for reserve. Harris 5.54 Laguta 5.20 Korneliusen 4.91 Forsberg 4.64 All it takes though is a poor meeting from Harris and a good one for Laguta and they will pass each other in the averages.

Silver Bee will disagree with me, but I've seen Rafal ride Lakeside, and it's not pretty. He does struggle with small tracks, but given his height it must be hard for him. However, I understand how you feel.

However, I understand how you feel. Bah, it's better now. Last nights performance was piss but now it's about bouncing back and destroying Vetlanda in Stockholm next week. Roll on!
