And Dackarna making hard work of putting away Rospiggarna - all the meetings very close as they head into the interval.

Erik, can you explain heat 9 of the Lejonen meeting please? How can Crump be replaced after a fall - is it possible he was injured and unable to ride, and replaced by Risager at reserve? Yes, Crump fell but wasn't excluded - but for some reason he could not make the re-start and was so replaced by reserve Risager.

Thank you - it's the same rule over here. Hope he's okay, or Belle Vue's season's over.

A shocking night for the various Coventry Bees:
Andreas Messing: 0,1' = 1+1 Chris Harris: 1,2,2,2,0 = 7 Rory Schlein: 0,2',0 = 2+1 Simon Stead: 0,0,1 = 1 Billy Janniro: 1,0,2',1,01 = 5+1
And to think there were some calling for unSteady to be in the GPs - preposterous.

Apparently Jason is just bruised and should be okay.

Indianerna win a match in Elitserien for the first time since June 12 of last year. Quite a record!

Heatleader form!
Sad to Smerderna lose to Avesta...it looks destined for the club from Eskilstuna. King Emil incredible again....17 and a heat leader in Sweden.

You have to think the future is Holder versus Sajfutdinov.

You have to think the future is Holder versus Sajfutdinov. It's hardly as if they are both gating machines either. I can't see a single rider at the minute touching them pair in the future. Their rise in the development of being a speedway rider is scary. One's 17 and clearing up Liga 1 and performing superbly in Elitserien. The other clears up at reserve in E-Liga, scores decent in Sweden and England on tracks he's never seen. And how old is Grigori Laguta? My Uncle wondered the other day, that cameo in Latvia was quality.

The elder Laguta is 24 (I think), but his brother Artiom is just 17 (again, I think) and will be 18 in November. Artiom isn't doing too badly for Daugavpils in Liga I.

Both awesome talents, Sajfutdinov and Holder, however I feel Jurica Pavlic deserves to be mentioned aswell.
Apparently there was drama in Kumla tonight when in ht 15 Zorros bike caught fire at the tapes. Someone rushed out with a fire extinguisher, and Kosiecha who was next to Zorro rode away - and got excluded for that. Piraterna team manager Stefan Andersson was furious and wanted his team to abandon the meeting.

I'm just not sure how long Sajfutdinov can last riding the way he does. It's sure as hell spectacular, but he'll just not be able to ride like that for long. He'll surely have to adjust his style a little. But I gather Tony Rickardsson is taking an interest in his career now and giving him a few tips. Could be a very potent partnership, if it lasts.
