Apparently Lukas Dryml is not fit for tomorrows meeting in Kumla, so Dackarna will bring Claus Vissing in. This means Ludvig Lindgren will ride at number 4, which in all fairness should prove too tough for him.

Chris Harris didn't ride here last night, so I'd guess he won't be in Sweden either.

Some predictions, so that Sub may cut me down afterwards Indianerna v Dackarna. Everything points to an Indianerna home win, Dackarna are carrying three riders of highly questionable Elitserien-standard in their line-up. Add to that Freddie Lindgrens rib-pains and the confidence and form currently in place at Indianerna. It will really take something special from Jonsson, Andersen and PK for Dackarna to come away with anything more than the bonus point. Hammarby v Piraterna. This will be tight! Last week Hammarby was the worst side in the land, ofcourse much of that depended on the inclusion of Freddie Eriksson. But the difference between full strenght and what we have now is quite considerable. Believe me when I say Smederna were by far the worst visitors in Stockholm this year, and the only ones to win. Piraterna however is a tougher team than Smederna, but we don't look quite as bad as last week. It's really 50-50 but we really need the win so I'll go for a small home win. Vetlanda v Masarna, not worth to comment really. Masarna will lose. Rune Holta, the Vetlanda captain, stalwart, icon etc is axed for this meeting which is sensational in itself. He won't be missed in this meeting though. Västervik v Rospiggarna. Should be close for the bonus point. Västervik's problems are continuing, with Chris Harris out this time which in itself might not be the biggest blow, but the consequence of this is that Laguta is not at reserve - and that will make them considerably less of a force. Home win though. Smederna v Lejonen. Smederna have yet to impress anyone, and against Lejonen it will be tough. They really need Jagus, KK and Davidsson to lead from the front in a manner they have not yet done. If Smederna are to win this they need a really good performance, something I'm unsure they can produce. I fancy an away win.

Any news whether Swiderski is riding tonight please? Hm.. no? No news I mean. Why, is he injured? He has a glandular infection and is on penicyllin. Well he was last Thursday, and although he was in Cardiff I understand on Saturday, I didn't see him to find out how he was. He probably will ride knowing how dedicated he is to his teams.

Oh yeah, come to think of it - I heard something along those lines last week. Had forgotten about it. Anyway, Lejonen have not reported any problems with their line-up or with Swiderski ahead of the meeting.

In vaguely speedway-related news I can tell you that every single bus driver in the greater Stockholm area have been called on strike. So there are no buses. Also, the subway line that goes past Gubbängen is closed for the summer due to repairs. This will probably affect us in a bad way crowd-wise tonight. It won't, however, affect me because I go by Saab ;D

And a prompt start in Vastervik, so we're under way.

Looking like being a shock result in Kumla, where the Indians are really scalping mighty Dackarna.

All square on aggregate in Hammarby, but it looks like Smolinski has withdrawn after a fall in the first heat.
