This was a thoroughly enjoyable night's speedway. The weather was very humid and warm, the company was good and for a practically dead rubber, it was a good meeting with several great races.
For the Monarchs, William Lawson was awesome and commanded the track. He was ably backed up by Ryan Fisher and Matthew Wethers.
James Grieves and Josh Auty were the pick of the Bears and James' race with Derek Sneddon in heat 12 was brilliant. Havvy was very disappointing and I was looking for more from Ty Proctor too, but Arlo Bugeja got better with every race.
The atmosphere on the terracing was great with the Redcar fans being the best visiting fans I have encountered at the Dale. They were loud, boisterous and full of colour and fun. It was good to meet up with Marron and others again
