After taking 3 years to get back into favour with Ippo fans, Scott has blown it again by opening his big gob and shoving his steel boot in. Has he not learnt that slagging off anything Ipswich is not the done thing? No, he goes on the mike and publicly slates our Poles. Not a good move.
However he was a source of constant amusement last night. Following his second red light in the crowd incident on Thursday at Foxhall, he continued seeing them last night at Eastie, 4 of 'em, 3 of them leading to exclusions! ;D ;D Oh dear, seems its not only our Poles who need to learn to ride the track!

Nicholls is just the ultimate in spoilt children - he's been so built up by the Sky team that he seems to have come to believe that he can do whatever he wants with impunity. He is, after all, the crown prince of British speedway. Whenever things go wrong, all he has is a list of excuses or people to blame. Did anyone in the Sky team ask him about the European Grand Prix during Monday's televised meeting? I never heard a peep about it. Obviously a taboo subject and one not to be raised with the crown prince. The Sky team are just so obsequious when dealing with the former British champion that he lives in a bubble of his own supposed greatness.

Judging by the article on www.elite-eagles.com Lynch seems to have annoyed Dugard. “We all should and need to be working together if our National side is to become a major force in World Speedway once again, but having heard comments such as those made by Jim Lynch and how he would appear to regard our business last week, I am not sure that we are that anxious to work with him” Dugard concluded. Could make life tricky in the Team GB camp with Eastbourne having four of the squad in their team.

www.elite-eagles.com Jim's reply: Firstly I have watched the interview on SKY several times and my comments were in response to a question regarding Scott and Chris Harris and their quiet start re the GP series. I did feel that the lowering of the points limit does lead to some riders being forced out of their clubs at critical stages of their careers and I used Scott as an example. At no time was I in any way saying that his move to Eastbourne was the wrong one, in fact without your timely intervention Scott could have been out of a job! If my comments have lead you to believe that then I apologise as that was never my intention. Your policy to employ GB riders, as with Coventry, vital to the future of British Speedway. Please contact me if there are still any doubts as to my intentions and I look forward to a continuing excellent relationship with yourselves and Eastbourne Speedway. Regards Jim Lynch

Report from today's Argus
Eastbourne Eagles are hopeful top scorer Scott Nicholls will be fit to face his parent club on Saturday.
Nicholls is a doubt for the home clash against Coventry after suffering a shoulder injury riding in Sweden last night. He had treatment today back in England and could feature at Arlington.
Eagles co-promoter Martin Hagon said: "We are hopeful but we will know for sure later in the week."
Scott has separated his shoulder and apparently he could ride now but it would really hurt."
Nicholls would love to impress against Coventry, the club he led to the treble last season but who then controversially let him go out on loan when the Elite League points limit was reduced.
