Okay, rules from around the world:
Danish League
There are currently eight teams in the DSL who all meet each other home and away. Each team has a named squad of twelve riders. Guests are allowed.
Squad riders are graded into categories - A, B, C and D, where A is the elite, B just behind them, C next in line, and D are the Danish youngsters. Each grading is allocated a points value, where A graders are worth 8 points, B=6, C=3 and D=1. A fielded team must be composed of a minimum of 20 points and a maximum of 25 points. There must be a maximum of one A grader used in any line-up, a maximum of three B graders, and a maximum of three riders who don't hold a Danish license can be used in any one meeting.
14 heats in a meeting, with the points for each heat as they are in Britain (3,2,1,0, and additional bonus points for finishing behind a team-mate.)
Tactical rides come into play after heat three, and can be used twice, when a team is six points or more behind. A joker ride (double points) can be used once only, when a team is eight or more behind. If a joker is used, the home team wear a green helmet cover, and the away team wear black.
Heats 13 and 14 are nominated - heat 13 is the two second-highest points scorers, heat 14 is the two highest points scorers.
Teams get three points for a win, two for a draw, and one for a loss. A bonus point is on offer for a team who wins both legs on aggregate, and the team with the most points (including bonus) at the end of the season wins the league.
