Has to be Leigh Adams, for me. All season he's shown his commitment and he's one of the best team players out there. Lovely guy.

Yes, the immaculate and totally commited to Britain, Leigh Adams gets my vote too!! But it's not just to Britain - Adams has been with Unia Leszno in Poland for twelve seasons and must've been with Avesta in Sweden for a fair few years. Good to see him finally gain a gold medal in Poland.

Good to see him finally gain a gold medal in Poland. As you say, Leigh could teach almost every other rider some values, should they care to listen, which sadly many of them wouldn't. And on the subject of gold medals, let's not forget the one he earnt at Oxford in 2001.

And a one with Poole as well, surely - the team with him and TR lifted gold, didn't they?

Add my vote too - also he's a personable chappy, happy to sign autographs and have his photo taken, always acknowledges the crowd (and thanks us) and has been an absolute stalwart all season. Great role model and some other, unmentionable riders (see FOTW) could do with taking aleaf out of his book. Bless him! Oh - and his wife's really, really nice too - still remembers my name! So - my vote for Captain Fantastic!
