With 19 point and a third place in GP Bydgoszcz, Nicki increases his lead in the GP-series to his nearest opponent, Leigh Adams to 31 point.
After five wins in six heats, Nicki lost the final to Mr. Bydgoszcz, Tomas Gollob and countryman K. Kasprzak.
- Hands up for Gollob, he is certainly Mr. Bydgoszcz. But anyway I'm happy, I increased my lead, that's what's important, Nicki says.

My jawline is still in lock at that Gollob move in the final.

I've got to disagree with you on that one - I thought the whole meeting was thoroughly entertaining. I thought it started well, faltered a little and then ended with a piece of pure magic that the lesser gifted, such as the former British champion, can only dream of producing. Anyway, infinitely superior to what passes for speedway that is continually served up at Cardiff.

Cardiff wasn't too bad this year - in the whole Prague apart the GPs have served up some decent stuff. Mistakes were made in track prep on potential classics at Wroclaw and Daugavpils. Hopefully Krsko is as good as last year's serving

Bydgoszcz certainly wasn't anywhere near as good as last year when Ole had nothing to do with preparing the track.
This year the racing was close, which kept it interesting, but everyone was pretty much fighting for the one line down on the inside....There was nothing available out wide, even for the master Gollob, until his last couple of races.
The atmosphere on the terraces when Tomek is doing well always makes up for everything else, though ;D
As for the other GPs. Cardiff produced some passing, but purely because the track was it's usual shitty, rutted mess causing riders to take off in all directions leaving huge gaps. Pearson's continual rambling about it being the best GP ever had me wanting to strangle him.
Prague was, quite simply, a disgrace. It doesn't usually produce great racing, but they made an absolute arse of the track this year.
Daugavpils was, I thought, one of the better GPs this year. The track was infinitely superior to what they produced last year, but by all accounts they can prepare even better, as long as they are left to do their own thing and not have some meddling old Dane in their way...

Just watched this Gp, Gollob was absolutely awesome, his move on Nicki in the final was out of this world, dont think many riders could have pulled that off. Thought Nicki over reacted a touch much to it as he would have done the same!
Nicki has been awesome this year, very ruthless rider which is why, as good as Adams is, he will never be Champion.

as he would have done the same! Being married must've addled your brain, young fellow - Nicki P could only dream of pulling a move of such genius as Gollob did in the final.

Not at all, my brain is fine I meant that Nicki can be as forceful as that sometimes, but as you say only Gollob could produce that kind of move on that track.
