Ah, but I think you got Nicki P's score just about spot on. But I fear Messrs Gollob and Jagus have thrown a spanner into many works.

Didn't doubt him, just hoped that Gollob would get the better of him in Ht 19. Ah well, Nicki P's crown now, I think. Even if by some miracle he doesn't make the final, no one is going to claw to many points back on him.

Hope your enjoying the Scandinavian GP. Perhaps, I am a bit more weird than I thought, but did anyone else notice (Sir Kelvin especially and though the commentary team did not even pick it up) that I think it was Holta, that was using a special engine.
Its bottom half was GM but the top half was non standard. It looked like a double overhead camshaft conversion, which is a significant mechanical development if so....
It'll no doubt come up on the BSF in a few days but remember folks. You read it hear first.
Edit: Congratulations to Leigh Adams.

Hello young Blanchard, I gather Rune Holta has been using an experimental engine throughout the GPs this season. I think there's already a topic on it in the BSF. It is an Italian make and based largely on the GM, I believe. But I could be wrong. Well, congratulations to Leigh Adams on his second GP win of the season and to Tomasz Gollob and Jason Crump on filling the minor placings. But if my sums are right, Adams and Gollob both scored 19 points tonight - it's crazy.
Edit:
Well, if my sums are wrong, so are sportowefakty.pl's, since they also have Gollob and Adams taking home 19 points. And Nicki P, in spite of not making the final, gets third place in terms of points scored, with 16.

They did pick up on it Jim. Think it was before Holta's 2nd or 3rd race, they commented he had changed back to a standard engine. I know because they said so and also said the engine he had used in his previous races had a twin something or other. I know they said it cos I don't know one end of an engine from another, so if they hadn't told me I wouldn't have known. It was also before I had the Honey Rum so I was sober There were some cracking races tonight but despite that I found the whole thing rather boring. I didn't think the camera work was that good. The commentary was the usual crap when Millard is about, Twatum's OOOOHHHHS every time the ref held the tapes was annoying in the extreme. Am I the only one that gets pissed off with Millard trying and failing to work out the maths of who can and can't get to semi finals? He usually gets it wrong. Ermolenko pisses me off anyway. Thank the lord for Chris Louis.

Well, like a few on here I do not read so much on there these days and its the first time the Sky Cameras gave it a close up this year. Its a GM bottom half for sure and I think a DOHC the top. I'll try and find out who has manufactured the top. I thought it was a good GP with plenty of racing though.

Sky actually made mention of this experimental engine in one of the earlier GPs in the season. They even named who had put it together during that previous coverage, but unfortunately I have completely forgotten who it was.

There were some cracking races tonight but despite that I found the whole thing rather boring. The question, young Star Lady, is should I remind young Fairy Cheetah of his comments at the BSF regarding a certain former British champion, which were: Roll your eyes all you like, young fellow, but Elite League performances against the likes of Simon Stead don't amount to much in the GPs. Edit: Apparently Holta's engine is a Finn Jensen hybrid engine, according to the all-knowing SCB.
